Chip has worked in the family business since 1981. He received his insurance license during the summer of his sophomore year in college.
He attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN and graduated from Michigan State University with a BA degree and a commission officer from Army ROTC. He served in the Michigan National Guard 126th Public Affairs Attachment as a community relations officer. Chip is a Desert Storm veteran with the 70th Training Division.
Chip is active in the community as a past president and current member of Adrian Noon Rotary Club. He also serves on the board of the Adrian Symphony Orchestra. He previously served on the Downtown Development Authority board in Adrian. Additionally, he is an Eagle Scout and was heavily involved in scouting.
Chip enjoys meeting new people and likes that he gets to see his clients. He is married to Cindy and has three sons, as well as six brothers and sisters.
